Pyrozen (formerly PopBrain or Web Cypher) is a Canadian video game developer behind the Sift Heads, Sift Heads World, Sift Heads Cartels, and Sift Renegade series. Pyrozen joined Newgrounds on July 7, 2005. They also composed songs for some games.
Before Pyrozen, Web Cypher is a web designer company that performs in Flash marketing by creating original and unique designs for websites and games. They changed to Pyrozen years ago and now (? - need confirmed), they are the GamesMedia group (old name of Gamesfree.ca). Web Cypher was a new team for Gamesfree.ca and Gamesmedia.ca. Web Cypher joined Newgrounds on July 4, 2007.
Their games used to be played on their website Gamesfree.ca or on mobile devices, but starting in 2021, with Adobe Flash shutting down, gamesfree.ca is no longer run games, but instead become forums.

Trivia[]
- Pyrozen's logo features a burning bonsai tree. In the early games, the logo animations just exploded. In Sift Heads World: Act 7 - The Ultimatum, the logo adds an interactive element where sniping barrels will cause the tree to burn and the logo will appear. In other games since then, the interaction has turned into pressing the mouse to throw matches to light a tree.
