Yakuza Leader is one of the major antagonists of the Sift Heads franchise, and a secondary antagonist in Sift Heads Rush, and Shigeru's partner. His name is never to be revealed.
Sift Heads Street Wars/Cartels - Prologue[]
He appears alongside Shigeru in the intro as they run down an underground tunnel. He doesn't appear in the game itself.
Sift Heads Cartels: Act 3[]
After Shigeru failed to kill Vinnie at his own safehouse, Shigeru's partner arrives in a car to help Shigeru escape. He starts shooting at Vinnie, but when Kiro appears, they decide to flee. Kiro chases them on his motorbike and shoots at them until he's run out of ammo. Luckily, moments later, Vinnie crashes his car into the one Shigeru and his partner were in. Apparently, he ditches Shigeru afterwards, as Vinnie and Kiro follow them to the Yakuza HQ and Shigeru's partner is nowhere to be seen.
Sift Heads Rush[]
He meets with Luzio and the Russian Boss. He mentions Shigeru being killed by Vinnie and listens to Luzio's speech about Vinnie's crew's impending doom. After the Russian's death, he mocks Luzio's plan and points out that it is going to get them killed instead of Vinnie's crew. Luzio explains that the Russian shouldn't have faced Vinnie alone and says that they need bait. To do so, they visit Darwen and kill him to attract Vinnie. When Vinnie comes to Dock 28, the Japanese notices his injuries and, sensing the perfect opportunity to strike, he reveals himself. Unlucky for him, Kiro is nearby and he cuts off the gangster's arm before stabbing his katana through the villain's body from behind, killing him.
Trivia[]
- He is the third character who loses an arm to Kiro. It happened earlier to Alonzo in Sift Heads World: Act 1, and to an unknown criminal seen in the intro of Sift Heads World: Act 7 - The Ultimatum.
- The promotional image of Sift Heads Rush depicts his battle against Kiro and includes a quick time event. In the game, this never happened as he was killed by Kiro without fighting.
